托福口语突破 Week 5 | Task 5 解题技巧 & 高分模板

口语Task 5叫问题 / 解决方案题。与Task 3相同，Task 5也涉及校园场景，不同之处在于第五题不涉及阅读。简而言之，Task 5包含两个步骤：
 
1. 听一段关于校园场景的小对话（持续60-90秒）
2. 根据听到的内容回答问题。
 
具体来说，对话中有两个人讨论一个问题与两个可能的解决方案。问题一般涉及其中一个人，有时涉及两个人。听完对话以后，考生必须简要描述对话中讨论的问题并就问题的两个解决方案发表看法。回答的准备时间是20秒，正式回答时间是60秒。

准备阶段

Task 5的准备阶段有两项任务：做笔记与分析问题。做笔记的工作主要在听对话时完成，要抓住重点：
 
1. 对话中所讨论的问题（通常是一个两难处境）
2. 针对问题所提供的两个解决方案
 
此外，在20秒的准备时间里，从两个解决方案中选择一个，并列出选择这一方案的两条理由。

分析问题主要是弄清问题涉及谁，谁提出解决方案。这一点可以借助笔记完成。至于提纲，也无需另列，可以根据笔记回答问题。

对话原文：

Woman: By the way, Frank, I heard you got some research position with Professor Davis.
Man: Aha, but I’ve got a problem.
Women: Oh?
Man: Yeah. Well, since I didn’t hear from her for so long, I assumed I didn’t get the position, so I didn’t apply for a dorm room for the summer. I’m afraid it’s too late for that now.
Woman: Yeah, the deadline for the campus housing applications has already passed. So what you gonna do now.
Man: Well, I can stay with my parents. They live 2 hours from here, so I thought I could drive and commute to campus every day. I know my mom and dad will be happy to have me over for a few weeks, and most of my old friends will be home for the summer, so in a way it’ll be fun.
Woman: Yeah, I understand. But you spend quite a bit of time on the road, doing back and forth. Won’t you get tired?
Man: Yeah, that thought did cross my mind. The other thing I can do is to rent an apartment off campus. Besides being much closer to the work, I’d also save tons of money and gas.
Woman: Aha, but then you have to pay rent.
Man: I know, there’s always something, isn’t there?

正式回答

回答Task 5时，应该注意以下几点：
 
1. 清楚陈述问题与两个解决方案（这是Task5的核心）；
2. 选择容易提供支持的解决方案（解决方案无对错之分）；
3. 尽可能参考自己记录的对话笔记（可以回答完整准确）；
4. 使用过渡词区分答案的三部分；问题与两个解决方案、自己选择的方案、自己做出此选择的理由（如果区分不清，容易让评分老师误判）；
5. 在表示建议的动词后的宾语从句中用虚拟语气（即动词原形）；
6. 直接对麦克风进行清楚的表达（一开始就调好麦克风的位置与音量）；
7. 语速适中，不要太快或太慢（要表达清楚，不要求快---快不是流利的标志）；
8. 注意发音与语调（不要过于担心自己的口音，但要口齿清楚）；
9. 使用熟悉的词汇与结构（过于复杂的词汇与结构对考生与评分老师都是挑战）

高分模板
第五题的模板应该包含下列几个方面：

1. 指出问题并描述问题
2. 个解决方案以及对方的反应
3. 第二个解决方案以及对方的反应
4. 考生的建议与理由

模板一：
